My wife loves Singapore, so I got a membership and every time we fly to Philippines to visit her family, we take Singapore. GREAT service, and the upgrades are really nice. I love the flight attendants, I've never had such great service with any other airline.

Thank you for this. I watched the whole thing and am sold. Looks like incredible customer service along with an amazing seat. I flew from LAX to Taipei a few years ago and heard a what I thought was a plane passing by- I tell people that and they're always like no way but with 13:09 I now believe again it was a plane. The food varies a lot if you fly from Singapore to Frankfurt or from Frankfurt to NY. the Singapore Catering is pathetic, the German Catering exceptional. Especially in the First Class Suites. and of course no amenity kits anymore, only in first class.

Very nice video!! Look already forward to making this trip in 3 weeks. But I have a question. In the previous years when I flew FRA - SIN - CHC I "had to" use the Lufthansa Lounge. How come you were able to go to the Maple Leaf lounge? Is it because you are member of the frequent flyer program of Air Canada? Would prefer the AC lounge instead of the rather crappy LH lounge.

In 1990, flew Singapore Air Business class from Houston to LA to Tokyo to Singapore. First time. 5 course meals, excellent service. Flew into Singapore for the opening of the Chiangi terminal. Then downhill. Flew from Jakarta to Hawaii to LA. I will call this a chicken in cabin flight. Plane broke down in Bali. Stuck in international arrival in a beautiful island and not able to leave lounge. 12 hours for new flight. NEVER fly Garuda.

I am not a fan of their business class seats on their A380, A350 & 777 -need to sleep on an angle, feet are squashed into a tiny space and is very uncomfortable. The other problem I find is on A350, the tray is poorly designed that your arm when resting (peering outside the window) can easily dislodge the tray lock and it pops up all the time. These are the only faults I can find with SQ. Over all impeccable service second to none.

HA HA HA, it's not even close. I'm German but SQ all the way. I'm the past when exchanging my miles for a biz ticket, I have refused to do fly with LH (which made the UA supervisor mad - a long story about them not informing me that EVA had cancelled their flight on my travel date & we had to scramble to find a replacement). Those angled toward each other seats by LH - If the one next to me stayed empty, sure. Otherwise, no, thanks.
