SINGAPORE AIRLINES Kuala Lumpur to Singapore Business Class 🇲🇾🇸🇬✈

Seriously the saddest day. Time to leave Malaysia and return home to Australia.
Today, we fly Singapore Airlines on a 737 in Business Class from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Singapore (SIN). Sadly, we were originally supposed to take the new Max 8 but last minute equipment change to one of the legacy Silkair 738.
We start the day with a hearty and delicious wanton mee breakfast and then continued to feast at the Premium Plaza Lounge at the airport.
Then, it was time to board our aircraft to SIN. Even though it is a ridiculously short flight, and most don't expect a full meal service, it is clear post-covid F&B limitations have affected the inflight meal. So much so, that this was seriously the WORST inflight meal I've ever had...in ANY class. I am not a picky eater, but I actually left the entire meal after a single bite.

You're like me... Filming, eating, talking... And Leanne has finished all her food. Hahaha... Catering on SQ between SIN and KUL is very sad... Its been like this ever since the days of First Class shuttle. MH runs circles around them for this. Good lord, the aerotrain sounds very rickety! Hahaha... Omg you sat at the exact same spot as I did in plaza premium looking at the PAL A321…! YUM, that chicken rice at the lounge was amazing, at least mine was fresh and not dried out. On KUL SIN flights, I'd be looking out of the window and identifying landmarks. Melaka, and Muar are always prominent. Enjoyed the vid!

The look on your face as you went into battle with the tough beef was hilarious! Loved it and I definitely relate! I don't know how I could have missed this video. If you have a chance to travel domestic in Japan, I highly recommend to fly with ANA or JAL first class. They serve nice little bento box and the service is always top notch. SQ is good but some times it’s really hit and miss especially since COVID. Some cabin crews are wonderful but some are just ok. Some meals are good and some aren’t like your sandwich. 😅 This is maybe because I am Japanese but I found Japanese airlines are much more consistent but you pay more.

Japan is one of my favourite countries in the world. The people are just so kind and beautiful, the food simple incredible, architecture is a wonder, art is transcendent. I cannot wait to return! Pre-covid every single flight I've ever taken with SQ has been singularly spectacular. However, my last flight with SQ to Malaysia was less than stellar. Service was minimal and the food offering was very disappointing (except for the dinner on the SIN - MEL sector). I really do want to experience a Japanese carrier. I've heard amazing things about service and food offerings. When I next visit Japan, I will definitely fly a Japanese carrier!

I've only heard positive things about Singapore Airlines but from this review it appears that they have not improved their post Covid offerings. Very sad as I've seen what you've received on Cathay and Sri Lankan Airlines.
