Tips for travellers. Always buy a TOUCH AND GO(TNG) card to use in Malaysia. Reasons: 1. Rails fare are cheaper compared to cash payment. 2. If you buy the NFC card type TNG, you can reload it on your phone with NFC capability. 3. TNG works on all public transports. MRT, LRT, BRT (Bus on dedicated track in Sunway), Monorail and all the RapidKL buses. 4. You can also buy TNG with 1 or 3 days pass. The 3 days pass is economical if you are travelling a lot. Just forget the vending machines. Few locals actually use it. Btw, i was actually involved in the design and implementation of the MRT ticketing system. LOL.

@@HadiAsadGDalHaj Actually, i don't know why some people refuse to use TNG...i can tell you that using your credit/debit card with all these systems has higher risks of exposing your card details. I will not use my debit/credit card for transport at all, even if the option is available.

Rapid KL (which owned & organised the metro rail system in KL) had their own auxiliary police department to monitor all the cctvs to ensure the safety for all passengers. The commuter (KTM) also had the same auxiliary police department on their own including a special coach for ladies only (pink coach) Malaysian also had this critical thinking about any services or products which means sometimes we complained & question a lot.

ah I'm just bubbling with proud hearing praises from tourists >.< even though I'm not involved at all with taking care of the stations. I'm sure there are some downsides too for our country, but thank you so much for the kind words.

🔎Majapahit tak pernah menguasai Nusantara. 🔎Apakah Nusantara?

You should also review a train in Sabah which is a region in Malaysia located in the island of Borneo. There is only one line that operates between the capital city of Kota Kinabalu and to a town in the interior. However service is irregular as the train usually breaks down but it is "unique" because when there is no train service, the people in the interior gets very creative as they modify and convert the wheels of either their motorcycles or vehicles and used it on the railway tracks for transportation. And by the way, another unique features of Sabah is that most of the roads are similar to the surface of the moon with its many potholes. In fact, the roads are perfect to use as a simulation exercise for a moon rover that will be use to send to the moon. Perhaps NASA can bring their moon rover to Sabah for simulation exercise 😂😂😂

That is what another viewer told us. We had no idea. We bave the touch and go mobile wallet but didn't know about the card. Can you buy them at 7-Eleven? Do they only work for the transportation or we can also pay for other things?
@sirmarisa8 ай бұрын
@@voyagesdiarytheres also some pharmacy chain called Watsons that sell them. Theyre like a Malaysian CVS. I think most 7eleven and similar shops near train stations do sell them. But u need them for each person.

In malaysia,there lot of muslims,cleanliness is part of muslims faith that why it's not dirty,the people also very respectful,kind,lovely and friendly,most of malaysia people also can speak english too,so if you don't know how to speak malay language you can just speak english language,you don't have to be worry about people in malaysia don't understand you.

Your words are too kind! :) We sometimes can be too hard on our own infra, there's always room for improvement, and a lot of times I think to myself, damn, what would the visitors think of our infra if such and such looks like this etc. Good to know that it's generally acceptable in the grand scheme of things. The newer MRT is great though. And to be fair, I'm sure the subway system in NYC has its own charms. I have been on the NYC subway one or two times when I was visiting the city back in 2003. I just find that the NYC subway is just iconic. Scary? Dirty? Smelly? Sure, but I think we're just describing the underbelly of any big cities. But you kinda feel like you're in a movie sometimes, kinda have to treat it as an adventure, rather than a simple commute lol.

If you're a traveller travelling in KL and some parts of greater KL (around KL-Selangor state border), I can recommend you grab a TnG card, top up RM10 and head down to any ticket counter at any stataions under RapidKL and tell them you want to get 1 day or 3 days pass which is way cheaper if you guys choose to use any metro stations including buses and BRT unlimited for 1 or 3 days.
