Singapore Airlines SQ612 from Singapore to Seoul on Boeing 777-300ER Economy Class

Here is my flight review of my recent travel to Seoul, South Korea on board Singapore Airlines SQ612 from Singapore. The aircraft was a Boeing 777-300ER with Star Alliance livery. My seat was 56C in Economy Class cabin.

Well it's economy after all. At least they still has 3-3-3 configuration in their B777 with great service.

ANTON SUWANDI In fairness to SQ, the flight departed on time and the assigned gate at ICN was near the immigration which required less walking. Sure, the airline delivered what’s expected of them, but there’s nothing particularly fancy to rave about. And oh, I forgot to mention that the IFE was sensitive to movement and would keep lighting up.

Mark, I'm just curious. Were any of the announcements in Korean?

Interesting question. I couldn't recall though, so I revisited my recorded clips from this flight and didn't hear any announcements in Korean. In fact, only few announcements were made (some were pre-recorded). But I assumed they had Korean-speaking FA on board.

@@MarkRodel that's interesting. I've always wondered why some airline flights have FA who speak the language of the destination for announcements and some don't. It's not a big deal, just a cultural thing.

Great review! It's alright, I couldn't really sleep well on planes too! :) I feel that the Economy Class seats on the B77W has a much harder backrest and a slightly tighter legroom than the older seats At least these newer seats has a better IFE system and the service on SQ is great! :)

Really cool trip report. Never known that SQ has Korean crews on their flight in and out Korea. Also my most favorite part of this flight is the bibimbap meal. It's great to see they served that. I thought that only KE and OZ serve that on their flight though
