~ Lounge Review ~

~ Check-in Experience ~
Singapore Airlines (SQ) First Class experience in Singapore's Changi Airport begins at the far end of the Departure concourse of Terminal 3, which is where the dedicated First Class check-in lounge is located. This is incidentally near the first drop-off point if you are arriving by taxi or car which hints at the status of clientele likely to patronise this lounge. There was no queue and staff were helpful and friendly. We headed across to the dedicated First Class immigration counters and were processed immediately. The counters exited directly to escalators that led to the SQ's SilverKris Lounge complex. Upon showing the invitation to The Private Room, we were personally led by a staff member to the lounge and to an empty booth to place our bags.
~ Comfort ~
The Private Room offered a variety of seating options and was mostly empty. Proper dining tables are available for meals and private resting cabins are available for short naps.
~ Food ~
Upon putting down our bags, staff offered us a drinks menu with an extensive selection of hot and cold beverages, including alcoholic beverages. Dining in the Private Room is a full service affair (no buffet counters) and guests can choose from a wide variety of starters and main courses which vary slightly for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Did you enter the first class check in from terminal 3 normal dropoff area or the through the first class check in dropoff?

I entered the First Class check in via the normal T3 drop off area, nearest to Door 1. Quite understandable for cab drivers to miss the left turn to the First Class check in drop off point.
