Singapore Businessman Builds A Family Home Inspired By Chinese Courtyard Houses | Remarkable Living

When Sheng Siong's co-founder, Lim Hock Leng was looking for a home for his multigenerational family, he wanted one that embraced nature and history. The entrepreneur viewed over 20 houses, but it was only when he stood in the century-old bungalow of his current 33,700 sq ft property did he feel a sense of affinity. The architects he commissioned built a home tailor-made for the large family, creating a new extension around the conserved building.
In Bangkok, Karmakamet Conveyance is a fine dining restaurant that challenges preconceived notions of how food should be experienced. It is a conceptual dining affair that allows diners to appreciate and experience food without restrictions. And meet self-taught tailors Gerald and Diana who make classically inspired ties, pocket squares and scarves. There are fewer than 10 tie artisans in the world and they are part of this exclusive group.

Well if I had the money I'd make my home have everything I wanted. That would include a fair size too. Having grown up in a council flat (projects for Americans), I realise that size is a luxury, but also great to have. High ceilings, larger rooms, en suites, gyms, cinema rooms, pool, games room, garage, out building. Give it all to me! Lol
