Merahan Knights went up against 2014 division two runners-up Jokasports Jansenites Floorball Club.
It was a tight affair as the newly promoted side took the game to their opponents and dominated proceedings in the opening stages of the match.
But the more experienced Knights regained their composure and took back the tempo of the game to seal a 5-3 win.
