You need to go to the marina bay barge from June 15th to August the 9th. On August the 9th is our Independence day. We have fighter jets and fireworks every Saturday from June 15th to August the 9th . It is absolutely stunning and beautiful, you love Singapore.

Maxwell Hawker Centre stalls mostly closed at night because they open early in the morning and serve lunch for those who worked in the Central Business District. Super busy ... super good food there...

25:59 In Malaysia they call it Roti Canai. In Singapore they call it Roti Prata. It's the same thing essentially, but there is constant debate (mostly friendly) about which country it originated in and who makes it better.

Tiong Bahru Hawker Center has good vibes around the area as well during the day. Newton Hawker Center is another touristy hawker center but still a good vibe to go for dinner. Birds Paradise is a deal to visit worth every penny for the experience. Take a city cycling tour in the evening as well where you could cycle along the Kallang River. If you like walking go to the bridge behind the Singapore Indoor Stadium for a good sunset view, it's Tanjong Rhu Bridge there's a tower you could climb there as well. During the later afternoon visit the Marina Barrage for kite flying view and evening with beautiful sunset as well at the top of the building.

there are many hawker centers in singapore, you can try those that are outside of the city central area. some times you might find hidden gems there, and they are often cheaper than the hawker centers in the cbd area which are often more for tourist. also, not exactly a recommendation, but we do have another airport in singapore (seletar) which currently only fly to malaysia subang airport. it is a different option for travelling between KL and SG if you want to avoid the crowd at changi, but there is nothing to do there compared to changi of course

There are so many hawker centres all over SG, try exploring away from the central area. However, for late night food, you can go to Newton Hawker Centre or even the geylang area where there are food places that opens till late. 😊

If you're still around on August 9th, National Day, don't miss the free fireworks display from 8:00 pm to about 8:30 pm. For the best view, head to the MBS area first and try to make your way near the durian buildings, if they aren't blocked off. Other areas will likely have numerous roadblocks and security checks. As for the roti prata, skip the plain ones next time and go for the egg-onion version - you'll definitely taste the difference!

Great you are having good time at night. For night time hawker food, you should try the Lau Pat Sat (literally Old Market) in middle of CBD area. Or go to Newton Hawker center (Crazy Rich Asians). Have fun.

No it was thunder, it was raining at the time and if you watch again, there was lightning a few seconds before the loud bang so definitely thunder 👍🏻

i know they all recommend maxwell, but it not really where i would go for food. like these places are really recommended for their location. there is a chicken rice stall that is quite ok, but their "crowd" is just not night tourist. but then the good places are always far and full... so just go with what you feel comfortable with your schedule.
