I just got back from Singapore couple weeks ago. I stayed on Orchard road and my grab driver from the airport recommended “lucky plaza” for my family to eat. It was GREAT food at a great value
@grifsfoodandtravelКүн бұрын
That is awesome. I also find that Grab drivers are really good about pointing you in the right direction for good food at good prices.

Makan Melaka Nasi Lemak is one of the better ones in Singapore. It’s very Malaysian style with the “lemak-ness” in the rice.

The nasi lemak with the huge chicken drum, thigh and egg is so unbelievably cheap. Not possible imo.

Yes, I was surprised by the price as well. It was a delicious meal. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.

Its always the foreigners who appreciate the price points in Singapore while Singaporeans complain incessantly on the food prices
@manofthehour_21 сағат бұрын
Entitled sinkies can never get over paying more than 5 dollars to eat at a hawker centre, because hawker meals absolutely need to be cheap, and the hawkers should operate at breakeven or even a loss to accommodate this!

Amazing to find these values and I really enjoyed all the food we had this day. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.

Wrong name. Its not Prawn Mee but Hokkein Mee.
@grifsfoodandtravel11 сағат бұрын
The name of the food stall is Hokkein Prawn Noodles. So a bit confusing as to these prawn noodles that have bee hoon and hokkein noodles, don't you think?
@mochi-ko11 сағат бұрын
@@grifsfoodandtravel In Singapore Prawn noodle and Hokkien Mee are quite different dishes. You should try a delicious bowl Prawn noodle (soup) and also pig tail soup. They are usually sold together.
@grifsfoodandtravel9 сағат бұрын
@@mochi-ko Thank you so much for your response. Never heard of pig tail soup before. I'll have to give it a try. 😋
