Singapore - Rain Vortex Light & Sound Shows - Jewel Changi Airport 2022

The Rain Vortex at Jewel Changi Airport restarted the popular Light & Sound Shows on April 1st 2022 after a 2-year break due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 2 beautiful Light & Sound Shows are recorded to share with everyone. The 1st show is choreographed to 'As I believe' by JJ Lin - Singapore's homegrown Singer/Composer. The 2nd show is choreographed to 'The Magic Wedding' by Cirque du Soleil. Enjoy!

Amazing they restarted the show there. I don't see why they stopped it in the first place. They find every reason to close business because of covid but it wasn't necessary. I enjoyed the light and water show, it's one-of-a-kind and a great attraction of Changi.

This Jewel is within the Changi Airport. They had to stop because there was no commercial flights during the 1st year of the pandemic. They only had cargo flights and all the retail shops were closed. In the 2nd year, commercial flights was at about 10% of pre-pandemic level. There's insufficient audience. Singapore is opening up from April 1st (really) so the shows were resumed. You might have noticed that they integrated smoke, laser and water. The shows were choreographed by @experiencewet (who are also the maestros behind the captivating fountain experiences at The Dubai Fountain and The Fountains of Bellagio)

Jewel Changi Airport is an attraction by itself. It's open 24hrs. You can visit the Rain Vortex and the Forest Valley. However, the play areas at the canopy park will be closed after 10pm. You can go after 1am. It's open but will be very quiet. Light & Sound Show Timings (from 1 April 2022): Mon - Thu: 8pm & 9pm Fri - Sun, Eve of PH & PH: 8pm, 9pm & 10pm
