Thank you very much for putting this video up and congratulations on the time and effort you must have spent in restoring it. When I found it, I was looking for a word to describe the clutter of boats on Singapore River at the time I first saw it in January 1977, so this is very nostalgic and perfect for my needs. In '77 I walked everywhere and could not believe my eyes when I saw such a battered clutter of wooden boat-like structures across what appeared to be a road, until I realised that they were indeed boats and that beneath them was an actual river. The next time I returned to Singapore, the mess, along with the Bhugi Street attractions and much more, had disappeared into modernity. The last time I was there, not even Raffles was recognisable. Have you videos or photos of any other countries around that time? I'm writing up the story (for my four adult children) of our nine months overland trip in 1977-78, taking public transport from New South Wales to old South Wales. The kids tell me they remember so very little of it after all these years that I need to recall it myself and write it into 'a book'. All the best to you and thanks. E Liz
