So sad.... Most places like these will not survive in SG. One minute is there, the next min is gone for housing. Truly sad sight in Singapore

This is far from a sad sight - it beautiful to see Singaporeans with a heart to volunteer and help. As mentioned, the ground up initiative is moving to a new site and just like in other countries, they are relying on the goodness and generosity of the public to help support.
