I really appreciate and respect muslims, fasting is so difficult and harsh especially in hot climates like here in Emirates, i’m non-muslim, but I don’t eat or drink at my work place in front of my Muslim colleagues and yesterday i fasted till the sunset to participate in the spiritual event.Ramadan Kareem

People need to realize that Singapore is one of most expensive country, that's why price is high. Edit : Ah i did not expect the comment wars but it's okay we're on internet so it happens. Singapore is a high tourist location, and has been for a long time. Like other highly visited islands, it raises prices because of all the tourist activity. It also does not let non-Singaporean people live there without excessive taxes. If you want cheap food that's just as good, it's probably best to visit other parts of South Asia. That's why places like Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, etc. are the best for food travel, or any kind of travel.
