We took the bus from kranji. Just after exiting the kranji mrt station (red line) u can find this bus. This bus can be found in other places too but we took the one which was right near the kranji station.

In weekdays, it's maximum 15 mins when you go by bus. And in weekend or on holidays, I'm not sure because I never went on weekend or holidays.

It depends on the traffic and the length of queue at the immigration counters in Singapore and JB. The bus journey was not longer than 15-20 mins. But total time taken to reach JB Sentral from Kranji took about 45 mins. The queue for bus at Kranji was very long.
