I have heard of this ceremony but never seen one before, its quite impressive I must say. Love the way you film as usual!

Congrats Elaine. This comment did not land in Review tab and is notified as per normal. It's more difficult to film this year as they restricted access to many parts of the route. Luckily I was able to film from higher levels from far. By 9pm, they blocked access to the end of procession segment too. Perhaps the photographers were too distracting to the devotees. I am happy that the video turned out well 😊

@@simplehomebody Elaine, your initial comment did not land in my Review tab, but this follow up comment landed in my Review folder. I am puzzled. There were many photographers there. There were also plenty of 'no go' areas. I was prevented to go to the start line while many photographers gained access. Perhaps there were too many photographers. I managed to film the procession in the middle and at the end point. After the 1st batch of devotees has completed the ritual, the temple people blocked access to the start area and end point. You can see towards the end of my video, where I filmed from high floor and outside the temple fence, the procession was free from spectators and photographers. I had put a lot of effort in the editing. Thank you for your affirmation.

This ceremony returns after 2 years. There were many restrictions as they barricaded much of the route. I had to film from high and far away angles. Even filmed from outside the perimeter by sticking my Pocket 2 camera through the fencing. Glad that it turned out well finally 😀
