My own ranking of KZ's performances: 1. Anak (Simple arrangement yet breathtaking and very emotional - everyone can relate and connect to the message of the song. Many say that this is not a contest piece but I completely disagree. For me, singing competitions are not just about high notes and powerful vocals, it is about making your audience fall in love with your voice, with your style, with your song, and with you) 2. Say Something (I'm speechless with this performance. It is so relaxing and at the same time it breaks your heart 😂) 3. See You Again (You can see KZ's sincerity and determination to perform in front of the Chinese audience and even international audiences. She sang and rapped in Chinese and English. She sang and let her voice be heard by the Chinese people and the world) 4. Bang Bang (Her part was short but absolutely worth it. Not everyone can rap that fast and precise. It may not be as good as Nicki Minaj's but it is still a golden talent of hers - plus her runs in the end) 5. Rolling in the Deep. (That my friends is how you introduce yourself as the new challenger 😂) 6. Real Gone (And that my friends is how you rock and roll! By the way I suggest you to watch her version of The Cranberries' "Zombie" here in youtube and the full version of her rap which is "Sumayaw Ka") 7. The Hurts You Never Knew (It was a great performance but after watching her massive version of "Rolling in the Deep," singing a ballad song just wasted the hype. Anyways, her effort is still undeniable considering she sang in a language that is foreign to her. This is where hardwork MEETS talent.) 8. Royals (May I repeat: this is my OWN opinion. Yes, her version of Royals was great but somehow - somehow it sounded too forced. That may be her style but it seemed that she tried so hard and she pushed herself too hard to give a performance that will render her safe from elimination. Unfortunately, she was still eliminated - which was a heartbreak for me) Enough of the blabla - I JUST LOVE THIS GIRL. She may not be the grand winner but she is still a winner for me and for the many people who believed, believe, and will believe in her potential.
