Hi. Why can't I pick up the bobbin thread? When I started to sew, no thread from the bobbin that went with it and there's this beep sound. What should I do?

Does all bobbin thread will be put on counter clockwise? I will try that and hope it works 🙏🏼 to a Singer zigzag 796 sewing machine , its an old one but i hope i could make it work
