My name is Josh. I think this is my favorite Dimash song so far. I was taken in with the tenderness of his delivery. But he still brought the power, especially during the incredible climax.
Again, I'm looking to mix it up with some "cool" pop/rock/r&b/alternative music from today's leading artists. I am also open to reacting to videos from Pentatonix, Voice Play, Home Free, Voctave or similar, if I haven't seen them. More Dimash also, please.
Please subscribe/like and make suggestions in the comments below.

No matter how many times I've listened to/watched Dimash, I am left speechless after each performance. Truly, it is as though a sacred space has opened, and invited us in. Your sensitive and informed comments are really appreciated. I have followed a few performers from I Am Singer...Hua Chenyu, Jam Hsiao, and Terry Lin have fascinating backstories, and each brings more amazing music into the world. Part of the magic of Dimash is the way he draws people together, so when such an articulate and honoring response is offered, as you give us, people can't help but show up and appreciate the dance we are all a part of.

It took the musical producers time to accept that Di is highly educated in music. He wants to do the songs the way he feels them. That took a couple weeks for them to accept. This is what studying and applying ones self to will accompolish.

Dimash has performed Autumn Strong / Late Autumn [Qiū yì nóng} about 30 times from 2017 to 2020. He wows his audience each time, he often adds his unique vocalise to the performances. In this video, Dimash stated "I am performing a Chinese song on stage for the first time." Dimash learned the lyrics in one week. Dimash had only started to learn Chinese language at this time. By his own admission, Chinese is difficult for him to learn.

I agree, and for me, there are a couple of others that make my throat tighten, just for the sheer beauty of how Dimash sings them...."Ocean over the Time", "Meaning of Eternity", and his newest, "Thousands of Miles, A Common Dream" ...that one just blew me away.....so nuanced and gorgeous. He didn't use his power, and yet it was powerful in its affect. BTW, greetings from Hawaii.

Hi Josh. Dimash has performed this beautiful song many times in many ways, but this has always been my favorite version. The first time I saw it (3 years ago), it was without the back story and without the English subtitles. It brought me to tears throughout. Later when I saw it with the subtitles and the back story, I found that it was as though I already knew the lyrics and the entire story. Dimash paints each individual note with its own timbre, breath, vibrato and placement to precisely communicate the meaning of each word and the emotion in each phrase. What Dimash achieves is the most artistic thing I've ever seen in any medium. 🧡🧡🧡

Yes, Dimash have a great range of voice and great breath control, but that's not all ... there is something in the color of his voice that provokes emotions in people and makes every hair on the body fly up. With his angelic voice, he takes the listener beyond the known limits of reality into a world of emotions and love. When I first heard Dimasha my impression was that I was listening to an angel, so it is to this day ....

In the beginning while Dimash was speaking and there were no subtitles he was expressing his concern that his Chinese accent wouldn’t sound good. The most he had was one week to learn the song and language. His dad recently said when his son performs he sings with every cell in his body. Dimash doesn’t just learn the words he becomes the words. Dimash’s talent defies all logic. Master coaches and professors from around the world has yet to figured out the phenomenon of Dimash. Maybe it’s best you just try to enjoy this gift or you might lose sleep over it. I was just telling my son Dimash has 8 mini hobbits in his body and throat! Eight different voices! A chorus line! Lol

You noted that Dimash shares the good around the world in multiple languages and through the language of music. As you continue with the Singer performances, you will also start to notice that Dimash starts crossing cultural boundaries and fuses the musical styles of different musical cultures and traditions into one song. At this early stage it may still sound a little bit arbitrary, but in his latest performances it sounds like a natural homogeneous amalgam that makes you feel the possible reality of a united world.

Glad to have you join us who love Dimash. I found him when he was on The Singer. He touched my soul. I have watched and listened to him every day since the first day. The world is certainly a better place with Dimash in it. He IS the music. He internalizes every song and then becomes the song as he sings it. I have never known of a performer like him. He is exquisite in so many ways. I adore him! He refers to us, his fans, as his dears. I hope you will join us. Thank you for your great reactions to him. 🇺🇸

Some singers have the gift to touch you at an deeply emotional level and it has nothing to do with the quality of the voice but when you combine this ability with such an unique voice it's pure magic. A tip - when you come to Daybreak and Daididau it would be a good idea to watch them first with the backstories from Gloria Wu (you have to activate subtitles for the speach part) and and then from his Bastau concert from later the same year for comparison. Daybreak because he was ill at The Singer and only after hearing him at Bastau it becomes apparent how affected he really was. And Daididau because the first was showing his culture to the Chinese audience (he recruited his fellow students to play traditional instruments in traditional clothes) but at Bastau it was that his childhood dream to show his culture to the world became reality - at his first big solo concert at his homeland attended by people from all around the world and you can literally see how he realizes that during the song.

Thank you for doing the Gloria Wu videos. Some audiophilic people recoil at them, though. So just as an FYI, she is able to avoid copyright strikes because she down-shifts the key a little. The original audio is usually a bit higher.

The sounds that weve been able to hear from Dimash are so unique, beautiful & unearthy that I think hes the real definition of angelic & heavenly voice. I still havent been able to get used to it. I have the same thoughts abt what you said abt humanity. Thank u so much for mentionin that. The fact that there is an artist whose been able to deliver such message at such an era were living in is a sign of the pure & beautiful soul of him.

The name Kudaibergen is of Kazakh (Kazakhstan) and Tajik (Tajikistan) origin and means "Voice of the angel". Kudaibergen is also of Oghuz (archaic Turkish) origin and means "Gift of God.". In late 2016, Dimash was invited to participate in Singer (as a "wildcard competitor" ), a popular Hunan TV contest for established professional singers. He signed a contract with Black Gold Talent in Beijing before the contest begun, confirming his participation. At 22, Dimash was the youngest participant in the history of the show, and competed against professional and top-selling Chinese singers. Dimash’s mother, Sveta later said that he had only hoped to reach at least the middle stage of the competition. Not only did he finish the Singer 2017, he finished Runner Up, gained millions of fans whom he began calling his “Dears. If his previous participation in other contests proved that he could sing well, his astounding performances on the stage of Singer 2017 guaranteed his rapid rise to popularity and international stardom.

Little correction: in Kazakh Kudaibergen doesn't mean "voice of angel". It means straight "given by God". Kuday - God, bergen - given. It's his grandfather's name, which , by tradition, is given to his grandchildren. Kazakh language is not related with Tajik. Kazakh language belongs to turkic family, and Tajik is, I believe , Persian

I must be different than many other Dears, since I do not cry when I listen to Dimash's sad songs, or even to Lara Fabian's Je suis malade. My emotions are triggered by their awesome artistic abilities, and, instead of tearing up or weep, I smile and radiate in delight and admiration for their acting qualities and I enjoy the experiences and rejoice in them. To me, they are singers-performers of the highest quality who know almost instinctively how to perform a song and to create a powerful emotional impact on the listeners. That does not mean that i am stoical, unresponsive and insensitive as a vocal music lover. My soul resonates at a certain vibrational frequency level and, as of now, no vocalist has been able to disturb my lacrymal glands. Except Angelina Jordan!
