Thank you. I'm an amateur. I've never had a nice sewing machine. Mine since I was 18 was a Free Westing House probably from the 1970's. I love it, but it was having issues. So, I bought the Singer HD6600C today. My sewing machine only had the straight stitch. This is going to be so much fun! I'm 50, so hoping this one lasts me the rest of my life, unless I'm blessed enough to live to 100, then I might have to buy one more. Looking forward to having fun with this machine. Your tutorial is a life saver

I got this for Xmas for cosplay. I’ve been scared of it because I’ve never sewn before. Within a week I was making custom jeans and tailoring everything I own. This thing is an absolute beast. I can sew until my eyes hurt and this machine just wants more. So very happy with this purchase. Best sewing machine on earth less than $250.

I just purchased my sewing machine (singer 6600c heavy duty) and very excited to learn how to use it. I noticed the reverse sewing goes really fast. It's not controlled with the pedal like other machines, so I can't seem to figure out how to slow it down. I noticed yours went slower when you did the reverse sewing. Is there a way to change the speed?

I think the “feed dogs” have been dropped down. To see if I’m on the right path run your fingers over the “feed dogs” . Do you feel them meaning they are up. If you can’t feel them they are down. Read the section on “feed dogs” as they need to be UP to move the needle forward or backward. Good luck😊

How do I stop an automatic sew? I press down on the pedal and it just automatically starts sewing at a high rate of speed but I can’t get it to stop unless I unplug the pedal or turn off the machine.

I'm not sure I trust any computerized sewing machines. Used to, you would get a sewing machine and it would still work for 20 30 or 40 years and you could keep it in your family for generations. Yet both of my last computerized Singers either did not work right out of the box, or stopped working a few years later with minimal use
