It's actually quite brilliant! Scenario : so let's say for example (I forgot her name) but she sang karma chameleon a song by george...now let's say all 4 turn, the block feature is obviously going to be used against boy george! This I like because as an artist your boundaries need to be pushed and your voice tested in different genres....same concept as Blake winning with a pop singer and Adam or Jennifer Hudson winning with a country singer. Some people don't realize how talented and experienced the. Coaches are in singing they are literally vocal surgeons when it comes to technique, stylistic choices such as cries, growls, whistles, diff tempo vibratos, vocal chord closure and openness, larynx fluctuation and posotioning etc....shortly put...(yes a lot of it is for entertainment) but when a coach Hears A Certain voice that might sway towards a different coaches style and then if they think that that voice is special and can go very far in the competition they will block that coach they think that will most likely get picked by the contestant....its a chess game!! (Well up until it's out of the Coaches hands but even then, song choice, what key they choose, tempo, style....the same song can sound completely different depending on those factors!!

Of course Guy is obviously a successful artist but was totally unfair to Buku, then tried to defend what was clearly wrong, Guys ego/arrogance was nauseating... Johnny didnt win because of Guy, Wrong coach and poor song choices buy that coach, and maybe Karma for disrespecting Buku's wonderful talent and USING him to showcase Johnny... Johnny was obviously the best voice out of that group, but Chris was fantastic and had a superior coach... again Guy mucked it up which made it easier for Chris to win, intentionally or not, while Kelly showed Guy how to coach and get Chris the win which he deserved in this scenario.
