Singer Memo-Matic Repair - steps to fix some of the potential problems

Knitting machine repair instructions:
My Singer memomatic selection box only worked sometimes and eventually quit working at all.
With these measuring and repair steps we got it back to work.
My selection box quit working again after a few hours but maybe this video is enough to help you with your box.

Hi, thanks for the video! One day, when I was programming the device, one of the red plastics broke and stayed inside. I had to take it apart and it was very difficult to put it back together again. What happened is that when I programmed it again the other day, when I touched the normal/negative buttons, there was a short circuit. I changed the fuse and it happened again.... Do you know what is happening? Regards!

Honestly I don’t know. Maybe you can bypass the problem by unplugging the unit before you switch these buttons.
