Super Cool I had no idea a whole monogram mechanism could be hooked on the sewing machine; this is AWESOME! Thanks for revealing this engineering treasure ✨💥💫

Very nice! Now I'll be on the lookout for one of these. I've never been interested in monogramming anything, but labeling would be useful. Thanks for showing how to do this in such detail; I always appreciate your videos.

Your letters are so dainty and perfect. Mine are coming out sort of stretched with the zig zag stitch. Would love to know what your machine’s settings are on as far as stitch selection, width, etc.

I seem to remember that I set it to the smallest zigzag possible. Also try straight stitch. I seem to recall that when using a straight stitch it could sometimes stitch twice in the same spot which can cause issues. Let me know if that fixed the problem for you. Also which machine are you using? It might be worth trying straight stitch and moving the needle position or centre straight stitch with the straight stitch plate.

My monogrammer came with the wrong feed dog cover as well, but it's not actually needed with a machine where the throat plate can be raised for freehand embroidery. I bought the monogrammer specifically to put my machines name (Glinda) on her dust cover, unfortunately Singer decided that all the letters would be uppercase except the letter "g" which is lower case, and I find that "gLINDA" looks kind of goofy.

Hmm that is a bother with the wrong g, what a shame.

Thanks man! I picked up one of these Monogrammers from thrift shop awhile back. (no instructions) - Your video is very helpful. I'm not sure I have the right plate for any of my machines, but I'm going to give it a try. I understand this attachment is for the Slant Shank machines. I have a 404 I'll try it on. Which machine do you have? I assume a 500 series. - Thanks again for your instructional video.

The machine I use it on is 411G; so the 400 series. I use the plate from the 400/500 series buttonholer.

I really enjoyed the video James, thank you for making it, -- I just purchased the monogrammer and am curious as to what the plate number is of the feed plate you are using - could you please provide that? Thank you
