Finally a seam guide! I agree, prices are cheaper on other sites. I called HSN after buying a sewing machine and they will not price match.

of course they won't because HSN is trying to make money. they're trying to say either buy our products or get out. the reason why HSN prices things more expensive more than other sites and stores is because of the rent, tax and profit fee, when companies like HSN want to sell an item they i think have to pay both rent and tax fees plus what ever profit they need to make to gain the money back, most companies do at least 2.2% or more profit on top of the items/materials original price or value

If you check out Amazon you can get this machine for $329.00 I paid 398.00 for mine from Sewing Machines Plus in California. It came UPS in about 1 week.

Some units have quality assurance issues. Buy from some place that accepts returns. In this way you could find a unit that works without any issues.

everything is more expensive when first released and then comes down in price each year as they produce newer models, this is a great machine even for beginners, however the machine has a lot of extras when purchased from HSN only
