This song will always hold up. This was performed not at the peak of his career, getting towards the end of it. He was huge in the 40's and 50's and for decades after. A true legend

The lyrics definitely hold up. Many whoever wrote this song was towards the end of a long career at the time. Frank Sinatra isn't know for writing songs, just having a great voice. Have you ever heard Frank Sinatra and Elvis singing a duet together? If not, you should check out them singing "Witchcraft".

He should have quit by 1980. You can already hear the slightest hint of vocal fry in this performance, but it became pervasive as he kept on. His phrasing, pitch and tone are absolutely perfect. Its an incredible job he does.
