Hug me is one of the typical Korean ballads of which the lyrics are poetic and wistful. It's surprising for the people from the different culures to be moved without full understanding of them. The melody is of course beautiful though. Thanks to her brilliant remaking, the original singer |songwriter must have been happy. I wouldn't listen to it, if it stays as before. She animated it again like she used to. Reminds me of Midas. If she takes care of some songs dead, they would be revitalized. Especially of the positive songs.

@@pjqi48k3ei For several reasons Hug Me is one of my favorites. I have seen an original performance by the writer and it is very different. I think it is important to have the English subs to truly appreciate the wistful nature of that song AND any song that Sohyang honors with her touch. In my experience, no singer can reach out and capture one's emotions like Sohyang. Exquisite as is her voice, I believe that one must see Sohyang to fully understand her genius. Then, one is also blessed with a great performance by a special lady who is very beautiful, both inside and out. Cheers.

@@pjqi48k3ei I'm in southern California right now. Yes, there are no Sohyang songs that I have missed. I will NOT watch her wearing that horrible 'King of' Mask. She has done those songs later on Stage, so I haven't missed anything. She is too beautiful to watch, so I am stubborn about that. I also avoid Fan Cams totally. Plus, a few spiritual songs that are too touching for casual viewing. I also avoid some of her Live repeats of those blockbuster TV performances - not that she loses quality, but I prefer to watch the originals. I have seen some of them more the 200 times - still get chills. Of course, I am old and single, so I have a bit of a crush on that lovely lady. Cheers.
