Dimash is a genius! A great storyteller and paradigm breaker! Anyone who watched the video, made by a fan with his cell phone, of Dimash's show in Hong Kong, had the pleasure of a first contact with the song “When I've Got You” and realized, in Dimash's own music and in the lyrics by Candice Kelly and Dmytro Gordon, a romantic, seductive and passionate song sung with Dimash's own virtuosity. There was tension and anxiety in being able to watch the studio version with better sound quality... Now, with the release of this music video, we realize how creative Dimash is: A suspense video with a “noir” atmosphere, but without being located in the past, and a tale of passion about a supernatural creature who feels alone and needs to fulfill his passion for a mortal woman who suffers for wanting and not wanting turn her into one of his supernatural creatures. Iskander Yerbolat's plot intrigues us to solve the mystery of the entire tale being a dream of a journalist who interviews “DQ”, or being a reality where the “vampire” did not bite his “prey” out of love! Intriguing... The video is a show in itself: Desaturated with vivid red details (umbrella, blood in the hands, blood in the pool, advertising sign, neon on the mirror...), a classic Rolls Royce, a gloomy and modern mansion and lots of details. As background music, he uses the work “Flower Duet” (Lakimé) by Léo Delibes. To create an old and suspenseful atmosphere, he does not use the 1968 edition and recording, by Joan Sutherland and Jane Berbié, but rather the original version from 1915, sung by Alexandrovna Mikhailova and Ivanovna Panina, recorded with a gramophone! The music video is a story that pays homage to several classic dramas involving supernatural creatures and passion! The impeccable editing with precise cuts that complete the script, simple and extremely efficient effects and masterful performances: Dimash (the seductive and tormented vampire, Polina Guzieva (the passionate journalist), Manuel de Jesús Sánchez Sotolongo (the sinister butler) and the harem of soulless vampires (Angelin Sapozhnikova, Valeriya Lyasheva, Andreana Tkachenko, Maria Aristatarkhova, Lilia Kiser and Klinnyushina Alina), superb! The music is a show in itself: a mix of Blue, Scat, Jazz, R&B, Rock... Captivating variations: a bridge to the chorus full of strength and seduction and a beautiful chorus inspired by classic rock and dexterity and Dimash's agility! In addition to the well-placed guitar solo performed by Abik Jeksen! The video captures and captivates from the beginning to the sign, which we let pass while still mesmerized by the “spell” of the vampire who can break the fourth wall! A giant, masterful, modern work that makes you want to watch it several times! 1000 out of 10! Hugs from a Brazilian!

I was very impressed by your reaction to this masterpiece.❤️👍 Dimash always looked up to Michael Jackson when he was a child. This is why he worked so hard to learn dancing (Give me your Love/2021 and Zhalyn) when it did not come naturally to him.🙄 I suspect that Dimash added the darker visuals to this love song for several reasons.❤ 1. To appeal to a Western audience that loves darker things. 2.To get rid of some of the "divine polish" that has crept into his reputation over the past 10 years. 3.And because Dimash has a playful side. 😂 You missed the mischevious smile when Dimash pretended to bite Polina.😂😂😂 Very pleased that you were able to recognize how amazing this song is. 👍Many Dears dismiss this song as "almost garbage" compared to other performances. I agree about this song, Renee! The main blues guitar riff by itself is indeed mundane, it's similar to the song Bad to the Bone, and I never could stand that song! However, a genius will often take a run of the mill, typical motif, & juxtapose it with other ideas that turn it into a masterpiece - that's exactly what Dimash has done here! The way the "gospel choir” sits with that riff completely transforms it. Absolutely brilliant!

@@FretsOnFire Thanks Joe🥰 My biggest complaint about "Bad to the Bone" was being forced to listen to it so overplayed on the radio into the "ad nausium" realm🙄🙄😂 I always prefered "unique creative" music and there was plenty in that era😃 Am hoping this Rock/R&B song is moving Dimash one step closer to a unique symphonic Metal song someday.🤔🤔

Renee, you remembered my name!👋😊👍 That's why I always introduce myself when I first comment with a new reactor, since my screen name doesn't have my name in it. Yes, endless repeated airplay made me despise BTTB, after a while the "b-b-b-b-baad" started to really grind on my nerves LOL. But When I've Got You will never get old for me! It's an infinitely better composition anyway, BTTB is just the cliche riff, with no unusual twist or anything in the composition to make it unique. Dimash & Symphonic Metal? That would be a dream come true for me!! I always thought Across Endless Dimensions is a decent nod toward Symphonic Metal, but something composed by Dimash & maybe a bit heavier would be great!!

Given that you liked the MJ vibe I suggest you react to all of his original songs where he's the composer and great English lyrics are written by Jordan Arakelyan, a singer with her own career, but also one of his three backing singers for the last 5 years or so. In particular the New York 2019 live concert performance of his then new song Give Me Your Love and the then new songs Fly Away (performed at the New Wave 2021 show), and Be With Me (react to the official MV). FWIW I've never heard of either GMYL or FA being blocked but it definitely used to be an issue for the BWM official MV (and while there's a Digital Dimash video of it, that video doesn't hold a candle to the official MV).
