I love that this is basically a diss track written about the main character because she keeps beating up the boss, and the boss absolutely refuses to get over it or even get out of the way so she doesn't have to keep getting beat up.

This track has that immaturity and a feeling of transference and impotent anger in the lyrics, from the boss's deep frustration at your success, that I think is superbly done

Not sure if you’d want to do more Hades 2 soundtrack videos, but The Titan of Time might be one of the most complex songs in the entire game. It’s in 7/8 and 25/8, with a ticking clock in the background the entire time, really cool drum and bass theme for the final boss.

"You're such a mess That little dress Looks like it's from the garbage" This is rather a funny line cause Sometimes you'll come across Arachne, who gives Melinoe [the protagonist] different dresses to choose from that offer different effects so basically Scylla is insulting Arachne's weaving skills even though Arachne was the woman who COMPETED WITH ATHENA IN A WEAVING COMPETITION AND ATHENA WAS SO SALTY SHE TURNED ARACHNE INTO A SPIDER TO SAVE HER AFTER SHE WAS DRIVEN TO ####### CAUSE ATHENA DESTROYED HER TAPESTRY

The context of this is pretty funny, since the boss in question perfoerms a DIFFERENT song ("Coral Crown") when you fight them the first time, but is SO ENRAGED after you beat them that they write this explicitly to mock the protagonist. Both have that fun, pop-punk vibe to them and fit the characters so well. Darren Korb doesn't miss.
