PENTATONIX HALLELUJAH would be a good next listen. It is their most viewed video. During the nearly 10 year history of Pentatonix (PTX) there has only been one member change. That is at bass. In HALLELUJAH you will see their original lineup, and in THE SOUND OF SILENCE you saw the band as it is today.

They just released their latest original song called Be My Eyes the second from their new original album set to be released February-12-2021 it has 11 tracks! The first original song to the album was released a few months ago called Happy Now The new original album is called The Lucky Ones(with a song titled the lucky ones) Pentatonix fans call themselves pentaholics 😊 They mainly do covers and Christmas albums and made an at home ep with five tracks all during quarantine titled Home- all recorded individually and then edited together! Also they've done quite a few collaborations with other artists- Dolly Parton, Lindsey Sterling, Kelly Clarckson, Toddrick Hall etc. So much to discover maybe start with their older stuff or their sing off journey in 2011 where they won! It shows their journey from their very first ever live performance as a group! They were so young 😮

Welcome to the new world of a capella. Pentatonix and Home Free have rewritten the book on a capella worldwide. All of the suggestions for more songs to listen to are great. Pentatonix has 3 Grammys, one for their "Daft Punk Medley" (Daft Punk), one for their" Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" (Tchaikovsky), and one for basically being Dolly Parton's backup band(?) on "Jolene". Also, try "Hallelujah" (Leonard Cohen), "Imagine" (John Lennon), "Bohemian Rhapsody" (Queen), "Mad World" (Tears for Fears), and of course, any of their Christmas music. For Home Free may I recommend their "Man of Constant Sorrow", "Ring of Fire" (Johnny Cash), and my favorite, "Helplessly Hoping" (Crosby, Stills & Nash) (and then a quarantined Italian Youth Choir's cover of Home Free's arrangement). BTW - These all sound a lot better with headphones. You hear more.

Hallelujah is less dark than this song, more bittersweet, perhaps with their best solos and harmony. Over half a billion views. Daft Punk medley is amazing, but may not mean that much to you unless you are a fan of EDM. "Mary Did You Know" is full of rich harmony and polyphony. It WILL make more tears. And Kevin the beatboxer sings! "Come Along" is a wild adventure like a mix of Winnie The Pooh and Alice In Wonderland. "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" from the Lion King is arranged beautifully and somehow made more serious and intense. "Bohemian Rhapsody" - yes, they do this without actual instruments and it is outstanding! "Sing" is a very energetic and happy original song that was their opener on one of their first tours. ""Havana" is smooth, swaying and delicious. In "Papaoutai", they join with Lindsey Stirling's violin dancing and Kevin also plays excellent cello. It is in French! "Radioactive", also with Lindsey Stirling and Kevin's cello, has a sort of post-apocalyptic vibe. "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" features the new bass, Matt Sallee singing lead. It is a very fun Christmas song. If you liked "Daft Punk", then "Love Again" is an original dance club or rave type song, but stranger and really good. There are lots more. They have been singing since 2011, but they didn't start really producing until about 2013.

Loved this video!!!! I suggest watching the live version of Hallelujah (Christmas special). It really showcases how amazing they sound live. I give a lot of props to their bass singer (Avi was the original, Matt is the one in this video) and Kevin (the beatboxer) they really fill in the song. Everyone’s voices are perfect. Even Kevin, the beatboxer, has a beautiful, soft tenor voice.
