As I have said before. I met them all a few years ago. You can always tell true talent. They have no egos. They let the music speak for them. Marko was very laid back. Very kind and patient. He also has great sense of humor. Made me feel comfortable talking to them. Just a great bunch of people.

It takes a certain amount of audacity to even attempt a Pink Floyd cover - and immense talent to pull it off. What Marco and Nightwish do here goes beyond talent and all the way to genius. I saw Nightwish in a club in 2016, and stood about fifteen feet from Marco. This song was a true highlight of an overwhelming show, and Marco at close range is even more amazing than what we see in these videos. I can't imagine how they'll ever replace Marco . . . but then again, I said the same thing about Tarja, and look how well that turned out.

Sabina, you are spot on about Marko being ridiculously comfortable - yet intense - on stage. This is what he does. Which is why it's hard to believe he won't come back. Get better, sir, then rejoin us. Other peeps here have already recommended another Marko highlight: The Islander (live in Tampere). You'll get to hear him perform VERY much solo, just him and a guitar in front of 20,000 people. And once again, he reveals different colours in his voice. By the way, we all have a woman- or mancrush on Emppu, that dear boy.

I love your written comments along the song! Stick to that! This is one of my favorite performances, more like a tribute than just a cover. One reactor, a guy from Germany, said this was a performance by 4 guys competing whose the coolest of all. They really all shine in this one. When it's time, (whenever that might be, there is a lot of music in this world to react to) for your next main vocals by Marko reaction, maybe something softer that time. Nightwish "While Your Lips Are Still Red" Wembley 2015, a beautiful ballad. Or Nightwish "The Islander" Tampere 2015, folky, Celtic, sea shanty, Marko's own composition, lyrics by Tuomas. 🇫🇮

I want to add one more song, from Marko's solo 2019 album: Isäni Ääni/The Voice of My Father. In Finnish/In English. Even many non-Finnish speakers prefer the original in Finnish. The English version lyrics can be easily found on the internet. It is important to know the lyrics, wise words by Marko. (In the English language video Marko is blurred, because he sings in Finnish, they did not make a new video for the English version. And there is an unfortunate typo in the video, sing my 'song' and I'll be with you, instead of sing my 'son' and I'll be with you, like it should be.)

Hi Sabina, such a great reaction to this magnificent song you had. I think you might find interresting to hear Marko singing Islander -Tampere 2015 or Kiss, while your lips are still red - Wembley Arena. Of course he has amazing songs performing with Floor Jansen. I like his voice a lot, very unique voice. Only one in the whole world. So many times when we see him playing his bass, we forget how talented singer he is. I also appreciate him as a musician, writing songs and lyrics. Not to forget his talents to sing and play bass and guitar at the same time. I have heard the original song several times which is just great and I really don't like to compare it to this version. I like both of these very much. This gives different kind of wibes with that more metallic sound. Great work from Nightwish guys. Drums and guitar solos, YES! They just keep echoing in my head for a long time after the song ended. I have always thought you to be attractive, but in this video you were especially lovely. Most of us think that rather than cover this is a tribute to PF. Tuomas wanted to tune this original to fit NW and made it heavier and the result is so awesome and brilliant. Marco shows he not only that he is awesome bass player for NW but can sing so great at the same time and has so fitting voice for NW male singer role. So sad that he decided to leave.

There are a few more NIghtwish songs where Marko takes the lead vocals. He is the only singer on Earth that can claim "Floor Jansen is my backup singer"! I’ve seen Pink Floyd three times live, and this Old Metal Rock Head thinks Nightwishes cover is just as good as the original. Nightwish made it their own! We have been very passionate Pink Floyd fans since the 70s and their original version of this song cannot be topped, but Marco and band mates did match them with this wonderful performance. Great reaction, it's so nice to see someone enjoy this band as much as I do! It's like watching the videos for the first time again, in a way :) I had tickets to wembley arena dec 2020, but we all know how what happened. Now Marko left the band and I was so looking forward to hear him live, but that's life I guess :) Rather see him join the band again then never.
