Seems most people react to Old Man, but he has a large catalogue of great music, been listening to him for those 50 years. Take some time a dive in into it.

Neil is in the highest echelon of musical artists of the last half century. His catalog is vast, extremely varied and more than worthwhile to explore. But in pursuit of your admonition to pay attention to older folks (like me, I’m 79), if you haven’t yet, check out Hello in There by the equally brilliant John Prine. If a lovely and sensitive lady like yourself isn’t brought to tears by its poignancy and heartfelt genuineness, I’d be surprised. And as always, thanks for the lovely reaction.

A acoustic guitar and a microphone in front of a live audience……that is talent….if this performance was done today at the Grammy’s for the first time….the audience would be going….holy crap who is this guy

As mentioned here Neil Young has amassed an amazing career of prolific music. For your next song, which he may have sung this at the same venue is Heart Of Gold. You'd love it. Great reaction.

it great to see African Americans (especially young ones) appreciating this song which is over 50 years old she needs to listen to Cowgirl in the sand and Don’t let it bring you down live version from CSNY album 4 way street

As one of those "old men" myself, I was very touched by your reaction and thoughtful reflections, Blessing. ❤️ Yes, Neil Young pays a lovely tribute to this ranch caretaker, honoring him in just the way you suggested seems appropriate. As you probably know, Neil is the "Young" addition to Crosby, Stills and Nash that made their sequel album (which included him) even a bigger smash than their debut LP. Happy belated birthday, my sweet friend. I just celebrated another milestone myself. And big hugs to that wee dude of yours. 🤗✌️❤

Lovely reaction as per usual. This is a song from the 70's, yes he is a great story teller, unique voice, humanist, organic .... some of his work is similar, acoustic feel and some more rock feel, in the 80's the guitar became more distorted

I listened to this as a 21 year old young man when it came out in 1972. Now I am at the other end, 72 years old and still rocking. For a song that is beautiful "Duncan" by Paul Simon on Simons KZbin Channel. For a heart breaking song "Runaway Train" about Teen runaways by Soul Asylum. Neil Young does real fuzzy rock as well, mostly with his friends of Crazy Horse. Maybe yoy check the powerful, beautiful, and deeply sad piece Cortez the Killer. There is no video, you may take the orignal track from the album Zuma from 1975 or the apocalyptic version from the live album Weld from 1990 Neil even did a full album with Pearl Jam, Mirrorball in 1991.
