David Phelps...the best male vocalist on the planet and every singer on stage with him knows it during his Gaither reunions. That's why they react with such awe when he sings! I have seen him live 11 times from the first couple of rows , met him several times now and have been to his home for concerts in the barn, met and conversed with his dad and can attest to his greatness personally. His skill is unmatched...and it is not even close.

David is a great song writer. He wrote all 15 songs for Gamechanger. I never realized how many songs he has written in his years as a singer. What talent God has given him and he uses it for God's glory. God has blessed his girls with great voices. Listen to Maggie Beth "He's Still My Child". Hey Brad, I have been a huge fan of David Phelps since the very first time I laid eyes on him, probably back in I’m gonna guess 1993 /1994, back when he was just coming onto the Gaither Vocal Band. I remember David was filling in for Jonathan Pierce and I was so very, very sorry to see Jonathan leaving because I just was madly in love with him, I thought he was adorable, I thought he had a voice from heaven... Well we all know when God opens a door look for the pen window.l another one opens, We used to go watch Gaither Vocal Band all the time. Anyway I have watched David as he learned, grew, matured, and the best part is he still continues to get possibly not better but he keeps his music fresh, interesting, you know just right. It’s like, oh what the heck let’s face it, God‘s giving him an idea and God doesn’t make mistakes . God & David will always make the best Heavenly music. Other than the storyline of this song I, like you, dearly love the Jazzy side of it. It’s just very gorgeous sweet background dinner, quiet party atmosphere. Just beautiful! When I close my eyes and listen to his music the other thing that I just love about it is this man knows how to sing waterfalls. He can sing a waterfall uphill, he can sing it cascading down over the big rocks or small pebbles moving downhill. I just love how he creates the illusion of water movement especially waterfalls in so much of his music because of the fluidity the ease of his notes. I’m sorry I have no musical background training I just love something good when I hear it and I’m trying to convey what it is that I love about it. So glad you’re a fan of David’s, I am too. Happy holidays.

Hi Brad, I just heard a wonderful rendition of the song “ And I’m telling you “ sang by the one and only Morissette Amon which blew me away cause I thought that nobody could sing it better than Jennifer Hudson, but I was wrong. Can you please do a reaction video of Maori’s version? You will not be disappointed, believe me. Thanks. And keep up the good work and I enjoy listening to your songs also.
