Such a beautiful and heartbreaking song. He hit the nail on the head with this. When someone has dementia or Alzheimer's there is a blankness in their eyes and sometimes that glimmer of memory shines through. More David Phelps please!!!!

David released this one at the same time as we put my mom into assisted living for dementia. I heard him sing it live a while back and straight bawled through the whole thing! Hearing him live cranks the emotion up 100x.

I came back to this and just felt the need to tell you that I enjoyed your reaction very much. I am very blessed to have someone to take care of me. Not my mind (yet) but due to alot of medical issues, he cooks, shops, picks me up off the floor lol when the world goes around on me and everything else that needs done. He's special. I think you are and someday, will find your special one. I agree on the beautiful harmonies.

I also love David Phelps. He is so gifted. This song caught several reactors off guard. It is beautiful but also so sad - a reminder that things don't always turn out the way you want. Are you going to stick with the person you married? Some do and some don't. I like the way you critique the way he uses his voice. More on David. I hope you can get song for sinners.
