Sometimes I have trouble formulating my words whenever Dimash opens his mouth to sing. This is one of those times. His voice transcends all musical boundaries. C2 was his lowest note in this song: a beautiful and rich bass voice. F6 was his highest note; that's a Queen of the Night note. This song spans over 4 octaves. Incredible. This is one of the oldest ways of making musical instruments in the history of mankind. It is not due to technical backwardness or the lack of metal devices. IN ADDITION TO THIS BEING SO CINEMATIC, EPIC AND POWERFUL....WHAT I LOVE ABOUT DIMASH'S SINGING IS THAT EVERY LEVEL OF HIS VOICE LOW TO HIGH, LIGHT TO POWERFUL JUST FLOATS OUT ON A CUSHION OF AIR....so many singers it's forced, squeezed, pinched, strained, screamed out...u almost worry for them, can they hit that high note?.....but at every level of DQ's voice it just rides on a a great wind of air like a surfer riding a wave. With this performance he has improved, which I thought he was at his pinnacle, like how do you improve on absolute jaw dropping perfection. But God almighty if this man/boy hasn't increased his range in the low register, created even more crystal clear resonance in his top range, AND THAT LAST NOTE, I HAVE NEVER HEARD THAT SOUND FROM HIM....MORE LASER BEAM, MORE PIERCING, MORE ROCKETING POWER THAN EVER BEFORE. Glorious!

Rumor has it that he has now expanded his range to over 7 octaves. He was recently asked how he expanded his range and he said sometimes he does it a semi tone at a time and sometimes a full step and he works on it until he has full control of it and then goes to the next step. I'm freaked out about his vocals! Coming from a stone cold rocker chick for decades, this normally wouldn't be sthg I would be interested in. But this kid is beyond mind blowing and a freak of nature if you will. He makes me cry! When you said like a movie, my thought when I first heard this song was a useless philandering modern man gets transported back to ancient China and thru trials and tribulations, becomes a fierce martial arts warrior master, fighting for his country and his beloved. This would be the theme song. The Chinese violin is called a urhu and has the most incredible haunting Asian sound. Gives me chills upon chills. I do have a question tho....if he's Independent, why would he be blocked. He has no label to stop it from Reactors. ?? BTW, I am liking your song. You are singing for God, no doubt!

This song gives us vocal whiplash in the best way! He is literally a vocal contortionist, bending and flexing his voice and his breath, taking us from below ground to the attic in under a minute, it is other worldly! And that last note is almost 20 seconds long, with vibrato! Yes, sustain!!! Great reaction!

Brad, I think he has, with a great deal of deliberate hard work, expanded his range that far downward! It's amazing--And it sounds so good! It's not just vocal fry, it's actually singing at that level. I like it so much! He works so hard for us, and I hope he gets lots of appreciative responses. This song is truly epic. He and Krutoy must have been working on this for months.
