In case you're interested in my analysis of the video/song combo (as someone who's followed Joji since his filthy frank days) obviously the song is about being with someone who is perfect in every way except for not being "the one" who's now gone. The video is an abstract (not real) look into the madness and shame of someone living a lie to cope with the loss of true love. The pain and guilt and chaos internally of struggling with the being with someone who you can never love the way you used to love someone else. Notice how at any one moment, one of the main "characters" is crying or sulking. Joji is giving insight into the mind of people who are looking for love but don't know how. Substance abuse, violence, etc.

@@mastermao8592 that's so true. I was with a crazy man who needed chaos to thrive. The music video has parts that throw me right back into that part of our lives. I can't imagine being in it now years later. It's so exhausting that you don't get time to think. And when you do you drown it with liquor and drugs. Then they start setting fires and lighting fireworks, launching at random people to incite a fight, go to jail for the night to have a story to tell your friends tomorrow. It's an exercise of refusing yourself opportunities to heal. Forcing yourself to continue to hurt because moving past it is far more painful in your imagination.

exactly that ! i don’t understand why nobody can understand the video and song as one its beyond obvious too me .. maybe i have a problem ? nonetheless video and song go PERFECTLY together .

Brother I would like to give a small suggession that whenever you pause the song/video revind it a few seconds. It makes it better to catch up from before the video is paused. But at last it's your content and you can do whatever feels comfortable to you. Either way I like the reaction.
