I've said it more than once: VoicePlay needs to stop listing themselves as tenor, bari or bass because not one of them stick to their own lane. And speaking of Layne--HOLY COW! Insane percussion and massive kudos to his teamwork with Eli to get this edited considering AleXa filmed overseas with green screen and they had to edit her in.

For anyone who doesn't know her yet, AleXa is a singer, dancer, actor, and Kpop performer now based in South Korea though born in the US. She was recorded and filmed in South Korea on green screen and added in to the video. Both Layne and Geoff manage to sound like lions in this.

Her team reached out to VP to ask to collab a few months ago. Timing couldn't be better, as they released this video days after she won American Song Contest, and will be presenting at Billboard Music Awards this weekend. Her K-Pop fans will now get a chance to meet VP, and vice versa. In the BTS, the guys were trying to learn dance moves that her team created, but... they pared it way down. With their mad vocal and arranging skills, I'm okay with them not being able to dance like a 25-year-old K-Pop star. Did you hear Geoff go sky high after his bass solo? And that slide down into the depths of hell right at the end? Or Layne's beatboxing? Cesar was awesome, and Eli let his rock tenor out to play. So, so good.

AleXa is a K-pop artist and winner of America Song Contest (raised in Oklahoma and a US citizen). Enemy is from League of Legends Arcane series and AleXa is in character of Jinx the lead in the Arcane series.

AleXa appears to be a player in the Kpop world. I checked her channel out Friday, listened to a couple of pieces, and we're talking songs with 24M listens? Kpop isn't my taste, but I admire her voice and her precision. She's good. This was amazing.

24M views is a modest success by kpop standards. One has to double that at least to even make a splash. Real successes are measured in 100M's of views (e.g. SNSD "I Got A Boy")

The song is from Arcane League of Legends series. The are all dressed as people that would be in the show. AleXa is dressed like Jinx, one of the main characters. You said "She feels like she could rip my head off". The character, Jinx, might even try.

AleXa reminds me of Ashley Dianne. They both have the same presence about them. Ashley Dianne could have played the part just as well. I love them both. Layne just keeps surprising us more & more. He's finally showing us what he was capable of all along. I think he was hold back on us.

AleXa had been studying dance in some form or another since she was 18 months old, and musical theater in school, which is her basic chops in singing. Korean entertainment industry standards are very exacting, so for her to be debuted as an idol at all means she's VERY good by US/Euro standards. She has roughly a dozen music videos to her credit, mostly the typical kpop mix of Korean and English, but there are all-English versions of some songs (for example "Revolution" c/o i heart radio's [▶] channel.
