If I’m not mistaken, SO HYANG was diagnosed with cancer…after surviving the ordeal she saw her second chance at life as a gift from God and dedicated her voice/life to brining joy to others…she is a gospel singer who grew up singing in church and she rejected international fame choosing instead to sing only for Jesus and to raise money for charity. This is why I believe we feel so much from her singing...its from above and real.

Bridge Over Troubled Water is always my number but you are right about this Lean On Me is different from others with its tour de force arrangement and the amount of exhilaration and excitement it generates. First you have to get used to her ability to change modes at the drop of the hat. Then you have to be ready for her to hit notes nobody else can. You must know that was a competition and it was her first performance there in the show, It is easy to know why she had never participated before (Do I have to explain why it would have been so unfair?) But this time obviously they wanted to show the highest level of korean singers to Mr. Bolton. That is the reason for Sohyang blowing minds on purpose. 안녕하세요. 오랜만에 인사드립니다. 그동안 MAProductions 분들의 한국어 자막을 담당하고 있었는데요. Lean on me 부터는 더 이상 한국어 자막이 나오지 않을 예정입니다. 아무래도 제가 직접 운영하는 채널이 아니기 때문에 일일히 연락 하는것도 조금 문제라면 문제고 자막 유튜브 시스템상 제가 편하게 수정하거나 자막 관련하여 필요한 요소들이 제한적이라 앞으로는 제 개인 공간에만 만들어 두고 볼 예정이에요. 그리고 자막 때문에 지속적으로 저 괴롭히시던 몇몇분들 저는 유튜브를 직업으로 삼는 사람이 아닙니다. 그냥 제가 만들어 놓고 보고 싶어서 취미로 시간날 때 하는 것이지 의무적으로 일하듯이 하려고 시작한게 아니에요. 마지막 자막 업댓 후 휴식기가 길긴 했는데 그동안 제 유리 멘탈을 흔들어 주신 몇몇분들 때문이라도 깔끔히 포기 합니다. (이제 행복하신가요?) 원래는 Lean on me 한국어 자막까지만 하고 말씀 드리려 했는데 이유모를 오류로 적용이 안되네요 ㅠ 그동안 감사했습니다.

한참 늦었지만 리엑션 감사합니다 저는 처음 저공연 생방볼때는 그냥 아무생각없이 봤었네요 소리만 지른다고 ~~ 이 어마 무시한 공연을요 세월 흘러 소향님 다른공연에 꽂혀 헤어나질 못하고 덕질 하는중입니다 ^^

전 이 방송보고 완전히 충격먹고 이건.. 이건 대박이다. 이러면서 인터넷갔는데 아 진짜 악플천지라서 진짜 화나죽는줄알았음 그날 밤새 키보드배틀뜨고. 이제라도사람들이 알아봐서 다행. 난 진심 그때 소향이 유명한 대중가수가 아니라서 사람들이 그냥 아무이유없이 끌어내리는건가? 이런생각까지 하면서 진짜 화났었던 기억나네. 저공연은 진짜 세계적인 수준임. 한국에 저런수준의 공연이 벌어지고있다는게 놀라운건데 그냥 무지성으로 인터넷전체가 소리만지르냐고 악플세례.. 왜 미국에 세계적인가수가 그렇게 넘쳐나는지 이해감.

Your voice is also lovely. People tend to listen to those songs that are easy to listen to more often, rather than heavy music. I love Sohyang, but I usually listen to another cheerful and easy songs every day. and listen to other songs of hers that are less heavy. for example, The song begins, The only one, Diva project mermaid (they are her songs)

소향 노래를 듣고 있으면 힘든세상속 마음에 치유가되는것 같아서 좋습니다 근데 단점이 있어요 몇년째 소향 동영상 보다보면 잠을 못잔다는것 똑같은것만 1년이상 수십번씩 ... 나에 여신같아요 항상 행복하시고 활동좀 많이해주세요

I think this one is her first performance on immortal songs, and she is a big fan of Micheal Bolton so she tried her best to cover his song. Other performances like Bridge over troubled water and Arirang alone were after Lean on me, so as the appearance on masked singer show.
