Just got my machine today. Nervous. Your video was the best I've ever seen. THE ONLY thing I would have liked was a better shot at the back hook step 1 threading. And a better vantage point of the bobbin threader (left hand blocking) OTHER than that PURE PERFECTION!!!

The verbal explanations are ok, clear enough, but the camera needs to be closer and SHOW the stitches, diagrams etc rather than her hands.

What do I do when the top thread doesn't pull up the bobbin thread? I keep rethreading top and bottom threads but it gets stuck everytime. How can I troubleshoot that?

I am super excited! I have had my finger fashion made model 5560 for over a year now. I love my sewing machine. But today for some reason I was having an unbelievable amount of trouble sewing I was having trouble getting my sewing machine to create even one single stitch. Ok figured out for sticking it doesn’t go around the little “screw “ on top. Great tutorials ; this one in the bobbin perfect. Just a note , it would be good to have your video person shoot from the top so we can see the details of what you’re doing .

When you make a video you need to have the camera aimed at what you're talking about when you're pointing to stuff on top of the machine no one can see what you are pointing to can you please redo the video and aim your camera correctly when you're talking about things that are on the top of the machine I would greatly appreciate it.

Domestic or home sewing machines should only be used to sew light to medium weight garment leather. The Sewmate 5400 should be able to handle lightweight leather with the appropriate leather needle and thread.
