Cybersecurity job is no joke, long hours and panic mode always activated, no real leave (due to nature of job) entry barrier is very high, nobody wants fresher, first 4 years are underpaid... Only passionate ppl can survive.

@@thymos6575 even ceh can land you in job but initial salary is not good and panic mode especially in blue teams become unbearable due to initial response policy that is usually within 10 min expected... Corporate cybersecurity job is much different from learning at home... You will be expected to have knowledge of office suits communication client handling etc. But it's good if you love such kind of work.

@@thymos6575 i have the same OSCP & 70+ real impactfull bugs reported. hired as fresher for around 11L. But its not about cert people with same cert also get hired at 5-6L. So its all about skills

Anyone who wants to join cybersecurity career to avoid coding . Pls don't , it takes long hours of practice and effort. It also needs a lot of logic building for penetration testing . Also some companies ask you to solve CTFs in interviews for freshers

Cyber Security is a general term like software development. Security analyst is the most popular job in this field where you will work with a SIEM tool alerts, you have to check all these alerts to find which are dangerous to organization and which are not. Lately most of these jobs are also getting automated. Even if you want to get into Cyber Security, it is a must have basic development experience.

Without command line you don't understand... And if you don't like command then don't go with cyber security domain.... Command ke liye mind bhi acha hona chaiye ab copy paste to nhi he.. So think before go..

There is also GRC within Information Security (Governance, Risk & Compliance) where you don't need any hard tech knowledge. But yeah knowing such things can be beneficial to some extent within this field. (For those who may wonder what information security is so basically cybersecurity comes under Information Security)
