He has sung that song when is only 14 years old. He is a runner up in the VOICE KIDS PHILIPPINES. Since then, he rose to the rank of good singers in the PHILIPPINES. He is now 19 years. He made his first television appearance in CANADA at the age 10 when he joined YTV's reality television The Next Star in 2012; he became the youngest finalist in the history of the show to be included in the Top 6. However, he rose to prominence after joining the first season of The Voice Kids Philippines IN JUNE 2014.

Fantasia tweeted about this cover of her song before. I saw a video when Darren was asked to sing like Ariana and he did it so well. Now he is 19 years old but can still sing high notes. He is currently with his family in Canada because of the pandemic but still do online performances for PH shows. He also sang Chandelier on the Wish bus.. After that, Mori and him did an impromptu duet of Chandelier on a Wish Awards event.

the secret why Filipinos are great singers is practice and karaoke machines. we sing everyday and we love to sing ballads, so what we practice is what we became good at. you can find karaoke machines in almost all households, and if you don't find one they rent one in every occasions.
