Great set up! For people that don't have a home theater receiver, buying a couple of powered PA speakers that have a 2 inputs with XLR and media input though 3.5mm cable or RCA you can play KZbin and patch the audio into the PA speaker and use the XLR mic input. PA speakers are what you find in clubs and concerts so meant for the job.

That sounds good . The only problem now , the new smart tv don’t have the old connectors anymore that’s why we couldn’t use the magic sing microphones anymore. It only have the hdmi and usb and bluetooth to connect the audio /speakers.

First of all, really good video and tutorial, well done. I really liked it :) There are quite a few things I want to comment about 1.There is a slightly easier way of setting up a Karaoke Set Up (with using KZbin via TV App and) without needing an extra amplifier if one uses active speakers where you can directly connect a wireless microphone system to the speakers.Those type of microphone systems are a bit different type as the wireless receiver has a built-in mixer which means that you can directly connect and input your TV Audio to it. 2.But other than that, you're still right.It's a good system which you showed and good Karaoke Set Up :) 3.Yeah, Magic Sing as I've heard and seen really is a bit, well... But to be fair, there are some good commercial Karaoke Machines/Systems with quite a lot of more recent songs built in. And it depends on individual needs, but one pro for the karaoke machines and contra for the customized KZbin Karaoke Set Up is that you can't pitch the key of the songs to your vocal range if needed, because there aren't always the right or at all pitched Karaoke Versions on youtube of the songs you'd like to sing. And one more thing is that with some Karaoke machines you don't need extra equipment like the speakers and the amplifiers (only the mics) because the machine system would work with your TV alone and you can hear the microphone sounds and your voice coming out of the TV directly :)

KZbin is SUPER limited in that sense. Karaoke machines let you speed up tempo, change pitch etc.

I just use bose s1 pro wireless speakers, and a wireless microphone system. Only 1 wire total. Sounds insane! But for sure your setup is nice.

As an aspiring karaoke host, I'm impressed with the wireless adapters you picked up. However, I love my outdated karaoke songs. I primarily use CDs for my set-up, because if my computer/tablet breaks during a commercial public performance, I can play discs for until I can replace my device. And I can still find new songs on CD, as well as make my own custom discs with almost any song. What you got is perfect for a home setting, and works for you. I, however, HAVE to have a 1000W PA system with 10 inputs for mics or instruments capable of blasting a live band. Also expensive. But I intend to out-do my competition, with the highest quality of music.

By saying much more affordable in 5:17, means if you have a wireless (B-3) mic setup, you don't need the no. 3 on the list (Mic & receiver), right? Receiver is expensive. So, I can have a Karaoke for my daughter with B-3 Wireless Mic, Audio Interface, and Amplifier (including all the cables mentioned), then speakers to the amplifier. How about if I only use the TV speaker as of now? Say, buying these items one at a time. I'm using it with PS4. I already bought a usb mic for PS4 and the Let's Sing App but damn, that app has ultimate song limitation. KZbin is the best to go.

I use a presonus studiolive ar8 usb mixer two peavey pr10 self amplified speakers and two shure sm 58 microphones and my laptop with a external hard drive full of karaoke it works great and goes to my TV and I use karma karaoke program I downloaded it works great

Yes! If that’s your natural style, don’t change it. If it is your natural and you want to change it, just try to embrace it because that’s what makes your voice unique. If it’s not natural to you, then push more talking tone using your Diaphragm and don’t release too much air when you sing. Keep experimenting with it until you find the best position. ❤️
