I am a vocalist and you are a great vocal coach just after 1 video.Im a student of Ken Tamplin and he teaches this technique and it is the right way.I can sing anything now by this technique.Its fun to play with my vocal and of course I love singing more than anything but God Christ and my family.Thank You for letting people know the truth on how to open up

Many times the professional singer is not singing airy, or breathy: all the compression and equalization applied during the mixing stage will simply exagerate the breath of their voices, so even if the singer do not sing airy or breathy a technique called Low-level compression will do this to the vocal.

Good videos! Recently I find you :) Actually I try to sing like Minnie Ripperton, Roberta Flack and also Karen Carpenter :D that's my goal, but yes, I can't sing always like the same, I need to find a balance with everything

you also shouldn't sing through a screendoor or window screen - you're sure to strain your voice doing that
