I just saying that I need an exercise that would make me hold the notes because my voice is "shakey and crackly" when I'm holding the notes at the end..... I haven't been singing on a regular. This is just what I needed! Thanks Jeff!

Absolutely delightful and so very very helpful, plus the little fun bit (don't tell the lower male voices"!). Really appreciate the work you have put into this lesson as with all your lessons, and thank you for your hard work as usual. You're incomparable. Kindest regards.

Thank you! I love the way these strengthen my voice; I can actually feel it grow. I especially love the exercises with longer, more complicated runs. Keep them coming!

Very helpful. Starting to get back to normal after a bout of laryngitis in July, still a ways to go, but your videos help enormously 👍

I like the exercise where you go up 1 to 5, then "trill" the vowels before going back down to 1. I vary my "trills" to reflect various coloratura passages that I are in my repertoire, or make up new ones. Just provides a bit more agility practice.

Why are therecads popping up right in the middle of the warm up?

About half a year ago, or so, KZbin changed the requirements to have mid-roll ads. They globally enabled them for any eligible video, which meant that I had to go through and deactivate them myself by hand. After doing a couple hundred of the most popular videos I lost track of which ones still had them, so occasionally you may find a video that still has them engaged. Leave a comment and I'll gladly turn the mid-roll ads off. This video, however, did not have mid-roll ads turned on. Not sure what you may have seen there. Thanks for watching! Jeff

when you say, "don't tell the lower male voices", I always think you're gonna say, "don't tell the Lord."

Just got 3 adds in between!!! Guess this one kept them. Question, I always struggle knowing when I should go to falsetto and when should I keep trying to belt it...are these exercises and most really meant to be belted all the way? what would you recommend? I like them but the damn Eeee sounds I never seem to place nicely once it's high and belted, it starts off and then finds its location but can't hit her straight and clean when going up...the rest pretty good

I took care of the advertisements - no more midroll ads here. The goal is to make a smooth transition across the various registers. Belting from time to time with awareness around where your registration events are can help with overall fatigue and wear and tear on your voice, but is but one way to navigate around the registers. Observe the registration points in your voice, and practice doing the transitions from thyroarytenoid dominant singing to cricothyroid dominant singing. Best, Jeff
