Hi Jeff, did this lesson just now and absolutely loved it. Since I discovered your wonderful channel, I can hit really high notes so easily now. At first I would maybe leave the last one as a scale rises to the high voice, but not any more, because with your help and me being careful not to strain my voice and vocal chords, I can get there. Grateful thanks as usual.

This one is so thorough . I like it very much. I think that all strong and precious vocalists hold space for each other in this world . And another thing on the side is that I love how general warmups are with so many vowel sounds etc since I was very young I have always found them to be a space for great self expression , because there are no particular words , it is easy imbue what one may be feeling and just sing it out. :)

Always love those high reaching notes around point 14, give or take. I am always amazed at my voice having strengthened reaching up to the rafters, as they say. I am still practising Mein Herr Marquis (Adele's Laughing Song) and can manage the last high note now. Next on my agenda is Queen of the Night. Opera songs may not be over familiar to you Jeff, but I am sure you know these two....? On to the next lesson!......

Indeed, I've heard of those! Best of luck to you on that journey! I hope quarantine in France is keeping you safe and sound. Stay safe out there! Best! Jeff

@@JeffRolka Will do! We have to print off French Government forms, with there are a number of reasons for leaving the house - have to tick the applicable one (a separate form is required for every reason), and you have to say where you were born (!!), where you live and write the date on. Forms even required for walking a dog. The Police are everywhere and if you are stopped, with no form, you receive a hefty fine. By the way, I do sing other songs - 60s and some 70s pop, but mostly MT and opera.

Can you hear us Jeff? Your facial expressions look as if you can. How am I doing? 😆. Love all your sessions.

When I"m playing the exercises, I'm often imagining a vocalist singing back to me. I think about how their vowels would sound in the phrase and what I might say at the end of the series of exercises. I'm afraid that in those moments I can't necessarily hear you, but I am truly listening. All the best, Jeff
