Sulfur hexfluoride is way more dangerous than helium because it is heavier than air, so it will sit on the bottom of your lungs taking away space from oxygen. It's not guaranteed to kill you (cause when you breath the air rushes in and can disturb the gas and bring it up), but you need to be a lot more careful than with helium; while with helium it's pretty much guaranteed it will all come out by itself (as long as you're not upside-down), with Sulfur hexafluoride there is a chance that it will not come out on it's own.

Could you do the same thing but with sulfur-hexafluoride? It lowers your voice instead of raising it because it is denser than air and you can actually float a tin-foil boat on it if it is in a fish tank or container. I'm a nerd, SUE ME.

The same things is true for helium. You just need to do a full inhale and full exhale a few times to get it out of you're lungs. Both are dangerous in LARGE AMOUNTS. That being said, water is also very dangerous in large amounts and so is pure oxygen.
