Hats of to the RAC arena engineers for realising that 1.2 tons is a lot of weight by itself, never mind on impact from the arena roof. The fact I didn't hear about this in the news a couple months ago shows that an ounce of prevention really is worth a pound of cure.

@@cameronwebster6866 I have forgotten the exact calculation, but iirc if you multiply the weigt by the hight you should get the speed and the you can calculate the weight of what all of them hitting the ground at once would be (Of course they're not all at once, but better safe than sorry). Then they have to include all that weight hitting a rather small area. Then all they have to do is compare how much it is with what the floor can hold and make sure it's not at the very end of possible safety. I know it's not precise and I invite anyone who knows more about this than me to put in their two cents.

It's very easy to clean a stadium . As long as the doors are closed you just Start in one corner and make your way round each section from the top down and pick up everything you see . With a team of people you can fully deep clean a stadium in just over 3-4 hours .

There's also been SAS Army training in the venue, fire-fighters train their for high rise rescue work, and they've even had terrorist attack simulations where fully armed TRG Operators carry out training ops 🤷‍♂️

So I’ve been working on how to replicate one of your connect 4 games. I thought about basketballs, frisbees, tennis balls etc. The tricky part is the drop holder that will have them each end up in the grid. Then, the most simple idea came to me. Use mini basketball balls and hoops like on the back of a bedroom door and add a long clear bag or tall skinny pvc pipe cage the height of 6 mini basketballs for each basket that would sit directly under each basket lining up balls. I’m excited to make it in the next few weeks. Thanks for the inspiration. Might be a fun episode to do some challenges that people can make/do at home then have everyone post their results and scores in the comments:)
