Since everyone is venting on here, I thought I would too because I never told anyone this. I dance and I've been friends with five other girls ever since I was 3 and I never felt left out. And then as we got older, new people sort of came into the group and I wasn't close with them because I'm the only one that doesn't go to their school. That made me stop talking when we would hangout. And now it feels like I'm not even close to the original five friends but they are close to each other if that makes any sense. Anyways, I still get invited to parties and stuff but I just listen and when I do say something, no one hears it or they just ignore me. But I don't think they know I feel this way. It just sucks because I will never be as close to them as they are with each other. I don't remember getting quiet, but now it feels like I can't escape it. I'm crying ahh. the words "ride my bike like all of us used to do" speaks to me soo much. I used to ride my bike with my neighbors all the time when I was little. I moved to a really hilly neighborhood when I was 10, and no one here rides bikes because of that. I still do, but I have a large enough driveway that's pretty level. In the essay, we had to write about our best friend's good qualities and what we learnt from them. My best friend asked me in a teasing way, 'umm what good qualities do you have? I cant think of any' Then my other friend retorted "I dont think she has any qualities you could learn from" Honestly, that stung. A lot. i tried to laugh it off but instead i only buried the feelings at the back of my mind. The next night, I ended up crying myself to sleep. I didnt think it would hurt me that much but maybe ts because i value their opinions of me so much. But i guess they just... idk dont see me as a nice person? This song reminds me of a few scenarios that I’ve been through. 1. First Day of Kindergarten - I was scared because it was my first day of kindergarten so I asked my mom to bring me to school instead of going on the bus. She said yes and drove me to the school. I was also scared to go into the classroom alone because I didn’t think I would know anyone. So my mom walked me into the classroom and I saw a girl that I went to Pre-K with. So I got excited and went over to see her. She decided to ignore me and pretend that I didn’t exist. So I sat alone in the corner of the room for the day. 2. Birthday Party - It was probably 7th grade year and it was one of my classmates birthday. So they were holding a birthday party. Everyone was invited and they all went to have a good time. I was the only person who wasn’t invited out of the whole class. Their excuse was that they forgot that I was in the class. The class was on 12 kids in total and we had all been in the same class since kindergarten so that probably gives you a good idea of how that made me feel.

it reminds me of some scenarios too the only ones i can remember for now were the two birthday parties i went, where i just sat on the table without talking to anyone, i even cried in one of them but no one noticed lol and the other ones were the multiple dodgeball matches were i was always the last one to be choosen edit: it also reminds me of the multiple chat groups were no one talked to me and one of them even forgot my birthday (and it was a small group with like 4 or 5 people), and i was so excited for my birthday because one of the girls in the group got a lot of edits, drawings, gifts and a lot of people told her cool stuff, that she was special and made like a party for her in the group, i waited moths just to find out that EVERYONE would forget my birthday (and i litterally have the date of my birthday written on my Instagram profile) also the roleplay games were i was like the extra character in the story and no one cared about me, it still happens till today

I feel u… this song reminds me of a lot of moments, but one that is most vivid is when i was 9 at school, our class were playing this traditional game where u have to split up into two groups, they decided to make it a boy vs girl, but they still somehow does that thing where two people of the opposite team would play Rock Paper Scissors and the winning team pick their player (which i know doesn’t make sense since it’s already a boy vs girl thing) one after one of the students were picked except for me, i just stood there in the middle of both teams, i remember the whole class staring at me and one of the popular girls told me to go into the boy’s team instead with this look in her face, it was clear they just didn’t want me in theirs so i just went to my table and cried for the rest of the day, nobody came to comfort me except for this one girl who stood there for 3 secs and then continue playing For anyone who might be wondering, i’m a cis gendered female, they must just really think i suck at PE, yet those are the same people who would spare me seats beside them in english so i would tutor them

The part where it says "I've been chosen last, since kindergarten". That one hits me in my heart. It actually happened to me ever since kindergarten, I know I'm different and I know that people tend to choose to not get involve with me but it hurts knowing that everyone have someone to be chosen but me. Now I'm in college the situation remains the same no matter what or how I try to change in myself. I like this song because I can relate to the feeling of always being left out by everyone on most of everything that surrounds me. I hope whoever saw this comment will feel much better. Don't forget that you aren't alone and that everyone who listens to this song relates to what you are feeling, we are all brothers and sisters no matter the blood, status and issues we have. In fifth grade, my group of friends was really close. Then I realized the Queen Bee was making fun of me and my other friend, calling us lesbians because we hugged each other occasionally, like that's even an insult. I wrote about it for a school assignment, and the Queen Bee read it. The next year, she stopped talking to me, not being mean, just ignoring me. I felt really left out, but I didn't say anything. Then in the middle of the year, I met a girl named Anna, and she joined my small friend group. Things were going great, until I realized I'm always chosen last, I never had a lunch table at school, and I always text first. My friends wouldn't notice if I went to the library during lunch instead of with them. I was just used as a homework cheat sheet. If you relate to this song like I do, change it. I have to do 7th grade online this year because of coronavirus, so I don't really have a chance to fix things. But as soon as I see my friends again, I will. I started high school last year and was very excited to make new friends since in middle school i didn't have many friends and i was going to a school on the other side of the city so i didn't know anyone there. The first week at my new school was bad and i almost didn't talk to anyone beside people who sat next to me at classes. Than i started to become friends with this girl who was friends with three other girls who knew eachother from 1st grade. I am a really shy person and its very difficult for me to make friends so even to talk to them was a big deal for me. Than months passed we also hung out outside of school a couple of times and i thought we were having a great time as friends. We continued talking even during quarantine but when school finished in may we started not talking much on our group chat untill not at all now. This song made me realise that they always choose me last and i would be the one to go up and talk to them, i would listen to what they say in silence, not understand their inside jokes, be the one who walked behind them, be the one who was invited last to hang out,the last one to be chosed when playing with teams, i wished them for their birthday at midnight and they almost forgot about my birthday(i almost cried that day). And i didn't even notice most of these things at all because i thought i was so lucky to have friends like them.

“Fast walk to the lunch table, and pack up before im ready to go” couldn’t relate more. This happened to me today. I always have to eat my food fast and get READY bc they randomly walk away from the lunch table. If im too slow, like today unfortunately, I get left and they don’t even know. I rush to get all my stuff in my backpack and take my lunch pale so I don’t get left behind.
