Hey Kelsey, you might want to think about doing careers concurrently with skills. That is to say, if you'd had her in the comedy career while skilling up her comedy, you'd have been killing two birds with one stone. Now you will have to have her practice comedy AGAIN when she does the career, effectively doubling the work. Also sometimes you get career rewards that help gain skills and it makes it go faster.

As fun as being a mermaid is, I do recommend grinding those aspiration points to get Savant, which is 4,000 points. It boosts ALL skill gains. It's pretty easy to do this when you switch between aspirations, which you can do without losing progress between them. The club aspiration is the easiest one to finish imo.

Something to keep in mind with her careers is you can only pick one branch of a career to complete, you can’t go back to the other branch unless you download a mod. For example you’ll have to pick between Barbie being a chef or mixologist in the culinary career

Maybe you should get journals for Skipper, Stacy, and Chelsea. It'll help when they get in those really bad moods, and help with their character values (which will help with the Super Parent aspiration). Also, it might help to pick a few aspirations to cycle through so you can finish them faster. And you'll earn more points for the reward store traits that will help, like Morning Sim and Night Owl

In the archaeology aspiration/skill, you can collect these artifacts that you fuse together, and one of them will turn a Sim into a skeleton for about three days. During that time, you don't have to worry about needs at all, which is a great time to get stuff done.
