I'm impressed by Rapido's honesty. If I were looking for one for full-time use I wouldn't be put off by what Rapido have said because I suspect they are no less suitable for full-time use than other similarly priced motorhomes. It is just that Rapido are being honest. There is a lot to like about that particular motorhome.

Those Rapido motorhomes has a really nice bright interior and a good price too. But not for long time use then?!

I love our Mercedes Engine Rapido 990mhv bit different to this one but only slightly, don’t have such a climb upto our big double island bed. So quiet when we are driving

Good evening Alan, what do you think about the separator made of glass between the burners and the lounge? In my opinion it's much too small. If you want to have steak or something similar for lunch you are going to have spots of oil or fat everywhere on the lounge furniture. The glass should be much higher I think. What's your experience? In many camper vans the burners are besides the toilet compartment and the sink is besides the lounge. Maybe, that makes more sense (???)

I have never considered that one before Volker but from now I shall bring the subject up in videos. I thought it was adequate but maybe it isn't now you mention it!

I still get the impression that motor homes are built like cars were in the seventies..... lots of niggles, things built of the wrong materials etc. Nowadays even cheap cars have basic function nailed, whereas motor homes don’t. A Dacia Sandero car may not be sophisticated nor elegant but is built for solid function, in a way that some relatively expensive motor homes are not.

Dave we have 3 Dacia"s are work cars. I can only speak for the ones we have and that's the DUSTER, if you have 4/5 people in it the DUSTER really struggles and it eats the juice more than my motor home. I had/have a Peugeot Autosleeper and I get 36 to the gallon ok its a 2.5ltre Diesel but with the weight I am carrying it does well. When you shut the door on the DUSTER its very tinny and they are in the shop every month with problems. But I get what you mean. Datsun and Nissan where rust buckets had all the toys in them but broke down all the time.

Thanks Alan, I thought for a minute I'd found my dream Moho.Is there a similar Hymer layout A class design? Seen plenty of Hymer traverse rear beds with kitchen nearside and separate toilet shower. But not with single beds. Really shocked at the appalling quality but then I've not found many consumer products from France to be any good. If this is what they send to an exhibition wtf will they send to their customers?

You can sort of find the same thing in every company as they all more or less copy each other. The Hymer range - the B Class Modern Comfort - is better equipped, better everything indeed, but much more expensive!

For €72000 I would expect it for long term use. You could buy a two bedroom house for that in Blackburn or two houses in Nelson. Again for that price I would expect it to all fit together properly. My friends has a Auto Trail Scout 2006 and it all works like it did when he bout it new.
