Mike israetel would highly disagree with that performing rows from an unstable position.

Mike believes in maximum force output in movements. On a db row , focus is on the lat performing the movement with maximum stretch and contraction. When on a single leg, you are taking away the ability for the body to put as much force into the lats as possible. Now he might be more gracious for these guys as the focus is not solely hypertrophy but it could be argued that you would get more benefit out of performing a standard row then doing a single leg movement than trying to combine multiple movements into one
