Have brutal tendinitis (tennis elbow) in both elbows, will this help remediate it or is this more of a preventative measure?

It’s interesting how these movements are similar to yoga. The ancient ones were wise indeed.

i know that helps the legs but does that also help the traps?
@Jiib49 күн бұрын
Absolutely, it's not really a trap exercise, realistically instead if you're wanting to target those you'd do shrugs, but, especially if it's heavy weight for you it's a good overall movement and grip strength, if you become more advanced however the less it will do for your traps, naturally

that 1 legged bent over row is a game changer compared to two legged on a bench. I am 6'5 with a back injury and could never get my back straight in a comfortable way. Totally agree about the core and balance points you guys made.
@vernongriffith410 күн бұрын
I have had so many people comment about how its not the best single arm row. LOL. I never said that it was but for us it has been a very nice layer of being able to strengthen the hips and the lower back from that single hinge set up. We have trained it so much it has caught up pretty close to what we can traditionally row too. I love that row!

As a man that does more functional workouts without neglecting the common lifts. You my friend have fuckin' top notch workouts and advice. I listened to you on the bell power podcast and became a fan. Then seeing you run the GBRS group training videos, even more of a fan! Human>Athlete. Big fan of Shipley as well as the other badasses in the group. I've got buddies focused on fitness, can't shoot worth dick. Then buddies that are awesome shooters but couldn't ruck let alone run with their kits past 100yards. Makes me feel less alone to see this kind of content. Your only as strong as your weakest link. GET IT fellas!! And to the dude that's talking shit about DJs runnin', if I'm not mistaken dudes been tore up and still getting after it everyday! Hats off.

This is a terrible exercise for hypertrophy. If you’re doing it for strength ahead maybe. It’s def not the best. But this is not gii ok by to work for growth.

@RyansReaperАй бұрын
Wth, ya instead of doing an excercise just do a whole jui jitsu class
@DaddyPeters29 күн бұрын
“Just do jiu jitsu” is a stupid way to look at this. That’s like saying “just do jiu jitsu” on a grip training video. Sure jiu jitsu helps with core strength or grip strength but the inverse is also true. Hence why most top grapplers in the world do some form of strength training; because just doing jiu jitsu isn’t enough.
